It’s a real natural attraction<\/strong>, offering an exceptional spectacle particularly when the waves crash along this large fissure in the granite rock. Stretching for almost 30 metres, this geological curiosity can be seen in all weathers (but avoid very bad weather, as it can be dangerous) and has its share of legends and incredible stories surrounding it, some of which are very real! <\/p>

When visiting the Vend\u00e9e, make a detour to theAbbey of Saint Jean d’Orbestier<\/strong>. As beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside, this freshly restored monument plunges you into a period universe, and even lets you discover temporary art exhibitions within its walls! <\/p>
